Competition

The executive committee of the Essener Ruder-Regattaverein e.V. decided today, that the 1st International Junior Regatta 2021 on May 8 and 9, 2021 on Lake Baldeney in Essen has to be cancelled. Unfortunately, no reliable prediction could be made by the authorities that the event will be permitted.

The executive board members regrets that this decision had to be made, but the health and safety of the athletes, coaches and the volunteers has priority. 

We do hope that we will be able to host international events in Essen in the near future again, after the pandemic is “under control”.

At this point, the executive committee would like to thank the member of the organizing committee once again for their support in the planning and preparation.
